devartis has been acquired by Nuvemshop!

I am pleased to announce that, at the beginning of 2022, we reached an agreement with Nuvemshop (aka Tiendanube) to acquire devartis’ operations. This deal strengthens Nuvemshop’s delivery capabilities by incorporating a highly skilled development team with more than 10 years of experience building software products for multiple industries.

Nuvemshop provides a platform that helps Latin American businesses (ranging from entrepreneurs to large businesses) sell products or services online with the tools to set up, manage and promote their online business easily from any device. With the suite of tools around payments, shipping, inventory management and marketing provided by the plaftorm, merchants are enabled to participate in the e-commerce market, ramp up their sales, reduce costs and provide their end customers with an excellent shopping experience.

We started devartis in 2010 with the goal of delivering high quality software to startups all over the world. During this journey, we worked for many industries (fintech, automotive, edtech, e-commerce, health and more) and we helped to create amazing products. Some of them were successful, some of them weren’t (as it happens with many startups) but we always aimed to fulfill our client’s vision.

All this was only possible thanks to the amazing team we built over time. Building this team was not an easy task but we knew from the beginning that it was the key to a successful software company.

During this last decade, many clients trusted us to bring their ideas to life. This was an immense responsibility and we did our best to honor that trust.

We are very grateful to all the people who were part of this adventure in many different ways. From the solo founders who came to us with a vision and lots of hope to the big companies that trusted our team professionalism. devartis was also the first job for many engineers that we proudly saw grow to become amazing professionals. We were also very lucky to find awesome partners that complemented our services and shared our passion for excellency.
